Switchd.co.uk is a site that will let you switch your energy supplier and save money in the process. To use Switchd, you must register with your email address and postcode. After registering, you must choose which energy provider you want to switch to, and enter your current meter reading. Switchd will calculate your potential savings, and will move you to the best deal based on the information you enter.
Switchd is a website that helps people switch their energy providers by checking over 26,000 energy tariffs every day. You can choose the free service, which only displays tariffs from suppliers that pay the site a commission. Switchd claims to save users PS400 per year. If you'd prefer a paid plan, you can also pay monthly. Switchd offers three plans, and the free service displays only those from energy suppliers that pay Switchd a commission.
Once you sign up, Switchd will send you emails when a suitable energy supplier is found. You can opt out of this service at any time by replying to the emails. If you do, the site won't switch again for at least six months. You can also toggle whether you want to pay exit fees or not. It only takes five minutes to sign up and it won't charge you until you've saved PS50.
Switchd uses the same algorithm to find the best energy provider for you. It searches over 26,000 tariffs every day and automatically switches your account to the one that's best for your needs.
