Store's Description
For those of you not yet familiar with Legoland, it is a chain of family theme parks based on the construction toy system. While they are not owned by the Lego Group, Merlin Entertainments operates the parks. If you're planning to visit the parks, here are some tips to get you started. If you love building things with your family, this theme park is a must-see. However, be warned: it can be very expensive, so be sure to plan ahead.
For those of you who are worried about the cost, LEGOLAND isn't the place to go unless you're willing to shell out a few extra bucks for a souvenir. It's possible to have your souvenir shipped to you at a Package Pick-Up located near stroller rentals for only a couple of dollars. While you're waiting for your package to arrive, you can exchange old minifigures for new ones.
If you want to experience a roller coaster, you can ride Coastersaurus, a family-friendly wooden coaster. The ride winds through a prehistoric jungle of LEGO dinosaurs. This roller coaster is an excellent first roller-coaster for younger children. Be sure to check the height requirements, though. Guests with height restrictions may want to skip it for this year. In addition, a rotating film series features Lego characters performing high-flying antics in Pirates Cove.
If you have children of various ages, LEGOLAND is a great place to visit. The park is safe for younger kids, but older ones can still enjoy the fun. Parents can even join the fun. While the theme park is fun for kids, parents can enjoy it too. If you're not sure if you're going to bring kids, you might want to consider a trip there for a family vacation. You'll love it as much as your children do.
