The Perfect Man
Our latest survey aimed to discover what the perfect man would look like, by asking a group of 1054 women to complete a questionnaire about what characteristics their ideal man would have.
The women were asked about eye colour and shape, eyebrows, hair style, colour and length, ears, nose, lips and forehead, complexion and skin texture and a CGI expert used the most popular features from the data collected to put together an image that represents the perfect man, according to the ladies that took part in this study.

Nearly a Third of Women Continue to Buy Skincare Products Even Though They Don't Think They Work
Skincare is a vital part of many women's beauty routines, and accounts for a significant amount of the monthly budget. There are more types and brands of products to choose from than ever before, each making numerous claims about what they can do for your skin, so deciding which product to go for has become all the more difficult.
With so much choice on offer, do women think that their hard earned money is going to good use on the beauty products that they buy?
In order to find out, we conducted a survey asking 1021 women how they felt about their beauty products, how much they spent on them and how frequently they try out new products and brands.
Amongst other surprising findings, we discovered that nearly a third of women are regularly buying products that they believe have little to no effect on the condition of their skin.
The questions raised by these findings are why are women continuing to show loyalty to skincare products that they don't have any faith in, and how long can this approach last at a time when money is so tight?
Key Findings
-
31% of people believe that the products they regularly buy do not show any, or have little effect, even though the desired effects were the deciding factor for 57% of the women surveyed.
-
Only 23% of those surveyed thought that their products showed a fairly good or great effect, but over a third spent more than £50 each month on skincare anyway.

Over 50% of Facebook Users Not Concerned about Online Privacy
Online privacy is an increasing concern as we use the internet for more and more daily tasks. The trail of information that is left behind is not just valuable to criminals, but advertisers, marketers and other companies can benefit significantly from it.
The recent lawsuit against one of the largest social networking platforms, facebook, alleged that they were mining information from the messages we send to one another in confidence in order to profit from the data within them, but has this affected our trust in the site?
In order to discover how much the opinions of facebook users on the issue of online privacy have shifted, we carried out a survey amongst 1009 of our newsletter subscribers.
Key Findings
58.1% of those surveyed were 'not very concerned' or 'not at all concerned' about facebook privacy.
85.2% of those surveyed were 'not very likely' or 'not at all likely' to stop using facebook due to privacy issues in the next two years.

Two Thirds of People Will Be Too Embarrassed to Wear Google Glass
There is certainly quite a buzz surrounding the upcoming release of Google's latest invention, 'Google Glass', and the latest reports indicate that it could be available to the public as early as April 2014.
Many have predicted that wearable technology is going to be a big deal in the next few years, but with an estimated price tag of around $600 USD, how many people are likely to rush out and buy it when it arrives?
We wanted to find out people's opinions about this latest piece to new tech so we asked 1132 of our subscribers to take a survey in order to learn more.
Key Findings
68% of those asked said they would be too embarrassed to wear Google Glass in public.
53% believe that at $600, the price would be too high.
61% said that they have no need for a new gadget like Google Glass.
Only time will tell if this means that Google Glass is doomed to fail before it even hits our shelves, and with rival products such as Apple's iWatch expected soon, it is certainly going to be interesting watching the market trends this year.

18/02/2013 - The Savviest UK Cities Revealed
One of the leading voucher code websites in the UK has revealed the top ten cities where people are searching for the most discount codes to make savings online.
The figures, which were recently released by LoveMyVouchers.co.uk show that during the last twelve months, Leeds came top in the list of places using the highest number of vouchers, with London coming in a surprising fourth place on the list.
Online promotional codes have become increasingly popular recently and with Sheffield, Manchester and Newcastle also ranking high on the list, it seems that northerners are definitely making the most of the discounts that retailers are offering.
Website owner, Andrew Firth, said, "The recession has affected just about everybody and with high street stores shutting down at an alarming rate, it seems that more and more people are turning to the Internet to do most of their shopping. We have definitely seen an increase in the number of searches we get for voucher codes nationwide and that is particularly the case in the north."
The Office for National Statistics recently reported that the average weekly online spend was 8.7% up this January when compared to 2012, and the growth of voucher code usage is highly likely to be connected to this.
Firth continued, "It's a good idea to get into the habit of taking a couple of minutes to search for a code before you pay for your items because there are a huge range of stores offering them center now."
Other cities seemingly keen to grab regular bargains include Bradford, Birmingham and Glasgow, but as more and more people catch on, the trend in the whole country is definitely on the rise.
