In this series of videos, we will be featuring healthy, frugal recipes that the LoveMyGlow team have hand picked from blogs around the world.
In this recipe from Tony Bailey, author of SimpleAwesomeCooking.com, these delicious burgers combine the goodness of lentils, spinach and onions. Lentils are a great vegetarian source of protein and iron, and the vitamin C from the spinach helps to absorb the non-meat source of iron.
They are not only nutritious, but also easy to make and very cheap, coming out at just £0.29 per burger. This recipe makes 8 burgers.
- Green Lentils
- Red Lentils
- Curry Powder
- Total per burger
