Logs2U made its entry into the market in 2009. They’re a division under the parent company now operating on a number of production facilities, depots, transport services, kiln drying capabilities, and supply chain across the UK. Their main products include hardwood logs, kiln dried logs, seasoned logs, and softwood.
Products
Logs2U divides their products into the following categories: Kiln Dried Firewood, Ready to Burn, Heat Logs, New Products, Coals, and Others. Each category has sub-categories that divide their products further according to certain specifications.
Sale
Logs2U offers discounts on selected products. Discounts are rolled out based on product availability, promotional periods, and/or special events.
Orders
To purchase a product, click on the desired item, type/ colour (optional), and add the item to the basket. The basket details the item purchased. The user has the option to continue shopping or to proceed to checkout. Once on checkout, the buyer can pay for the item. New members will be required to create an account prior to making any purchase. An e-mail confirmation is sent once the buyer officially makes the purchase.
Payment
Logs2U caters to the following payment method: debit/credit card (Visa/MasterCard and Maestro) and Jolo.
Delivery
Logs2U offers delivery on all their products. For sealed bags or nets with a maximum net weight of 50kg, they can be delivered directly to the buyer’s coal bunker or log store via a driver. For crates, pallets, and dumpy bugs, Log2U utilizes their own approved suppliers in delivering such products. Log2U can be instructed where their drivers can place the item in case the buyer isn’t available or are away. The buyer should instruct the driver to leave the item in a safe and secure location. Delivery is free for those living in mainland UK and Wales with a purchase of more than £50 for a single transaction. A single transaction of less than £50 will have an additional delivery fee. Standard delivery will take an average of 5-7 days (or less). Delivery times are done on weekdays (8am to 6pm).
Returns and Exchanges
If the user is unsatisfied with the item, the item can be returned within the 14-day period from when the item is received. The item should be in the original packaging and in good condition. Logs2U will arrange the return of the item. The delivery fee for the item to be returned should be shouldered by the buyer. An exception is made if the user happens to receive a faulty/defective item or if the item didn’t arrive as described. Refunds can be made provided it meets the 14-day window from when the item was received. Vouchers and/or debit/credit card payment will be refunded if the item meets the refund policy.
