Gorillas may soon consider hiring robots to help them pick orders faster. If it's successful, the company will be worth billions of dollars in the next few years.
Gorillas.io's initial funding round has been backed by investors including Tencent, Coatue, Dragoneer Investment Group, and DST Global. Its Series A round closed in December 2020, with investors including Dragoneer, Coatue, and Green Oaks. In March 2021, Gorillas raised $1 billion, and is valued at $3 billion. It does not disclose revenue figures.
