Store's Description
Among other airlines, Cathay Pacific is an international airline with flights connecting over 90 destinations in 35 countries. Passengers can earn and redeem AAdvantage(r) miles when they fly with Cathay Pacific. In addition to AAdvantage(r) status, travellers can earn cabin bonuses with certain fare classes. For example, passengers in Premium Economy can receive 10% cabin bonus when booking fares in W cabins on flights between Hong Kong (HKG) and Bangkok (BKK). Likewise, passengers traveling in W class do not earn AAdvantage(r) miles unless they book a ticket with a booking code.
The company was founded on 24 September 1946 in Hong Kong. The airline's first flight was a cargo shipment from Australia to New Zealand. The planes were often detained by the authorities, and they eventually moved their base to Hong Kong. However, the airline's fateful fate was not sealed. As a result, the airline ceased operations in Singapore on 11th May 1946 and relocated to Hong Kong. This has helped it grow into one of the world's most prominent airlines.
In addition to offering world-class services, Cathay Pacific offers premium lounges at airports and onboard dining. In addition, its business class seats have a 17-inch screen and BOSE clamor-retraction earphones, so you can enjoy movies in style. In addition to all of these amenities, customers traveling on Cathay Pacific can also enjoy top-notch inflight lounges in major cities.
