Butternut Box is a Pet Service company that was launched in 2016 by Dave and Kev. They provide super fresh meals for dogs, developed alongside leading animal nutritionist, who helped them formulate completely balanced, human grade recipes that are approved by vets. Their meals are cooked to order, never canned or overcooked and are delivered in refrigerated boxes ensuring they retain essential vitamins and nutrients found in their ingredients. They source their meat from Smithfield meat market and cook it at low Temparture in small batches and ensure their meals are dog damn delicious.

Products
The meals they make are grains free, meat meal free and made with ingredients fit for a human. They offer four recipes including: chicken recipe – made with 60% chicken breasts and liver, turkey recipe – containing 60% minced turkey thigh, lamb – made from 60% fresh lamb trim and heart, and beef recipe – made with 60% fresh beef trim, heart and liver.
The cost of the meal can be broken down into three, the final cost being dependent on the size of the dog, a day’s meal can be estimated to cost: small dogs - £1.60, medium dogs - £2.66 and large dogs - £3.92.
Delivery
The cost of delivery is included in the purchase and they do it on Sunday’s and Mondays. They deliver to the UK mainland, Scottish Highlands, Northern Irelands and islands off the UK.
Payment
To purchase any of Butternut Box products one has to have an account with them. They are a subscription based service and payment is charged on credit or debit cards once delivery is made. They only take online payments.
