A scarf is a fun, versatile accessory. Whether you love solid, bold colors, or delicate, whimsical patterns, enjoy eternity scarfs or large, tasseled scarfs, you can find one that you love and can make a staple in your wardrobe. Unsure how to wear the accessory? Here are five ways.

Tie on Your Handbag
Even your accessories can be accessorized, and the standard hndbag is an excellent choice for jazzing up. A scarf that complements a handbag looks beautiful, yet funky tied around its strap. If the scarf is gauzy, it can be tied in a bow, without looking too structured. If the scarf is a stronger material, try to loop it around a few times, so it stays tied on without being too formal looking.

Wear as a Vest
A scarf can be looped around your neck without looking like a plain scarf. If you drape it so that it hangs evenly on each side of your body, you can create a faux vest. Just put your favorite belt around your natural waist, and the scarf is cinched in place. This style is very cute with a solid colored shirt or dress.

Belted
Rather than belting the scarf, you can use the scarf as a belt. This works best with long scarves, so that you can the ends do not jut askew once it is tied. You can thread the scarf through belt loops or tie it around a billowy dress or oversized shirt to give the outfit a more fitted shape.

Head Wrap
For those bad hair days or when you just do not want to deal with your hair, the scarf will save you loads of time and energy, while making you look super fashionable. Fold the scarf into a smaller strip and tie in around your head, knotted at the temple.

Around Your Neck
There is, of course, the standard way to wear the scarf: around your neck. Loop it however feels the most comfortable to you, and you will look great!
